Does Tonafy work for guitar and bass?
Yes. Tonafy supports both guitar and bass workflows with instrument-specific part types, gear catalogs, and tone matching.
How do I match a song tone to my amp?
Sign up free, choose your guitar or bass rig, search for a song, pick the part type and tone style, then generate settings. Tonafy returns amp and signal-chain guidance for your exact setup.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes 1 tone generation so you can try Tonafy before upgrading.
What do paid plans include?
Beginner includes 25 tone generations per month and 25 saved tones. Expert includes unlimited generations and unlimited saved tones.
How accurate are the settings?
Settings are AI-assisted and based on research about the original recording and your gear. Results vary by song, rig, and room — use them as a strong starting point and adjust by ear.
Can I save tones to my collection?
Yes, on paid plans. Saved tones let you reopen previous matches without generating again.
Do I need Spotify to use Tonafy?
Song search uses Spotify track data to identify songs. You need a Tonafy account; you do not need your own Spotify account to search.
How do I cancel a subscription?
You can cancel anytime from your account billing settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
